Harlan Martin Green's Obituary
Harlan died on November 7th, 2017 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Caroline Schwark who died June 29, 2016. Harlan was born in Dallas and served as a lieutenant naval aviator in the Pacific during WWII. After the war he returned to Dallas and spent 35 years in the pharmaceutical industry with G.D. Searle Laboratories. After retiring he and Caroline followed their dream to retire to the beaches in Florida. They spent 23 wonderful years in Sand Key while Harlan began a 2nd successful career in real estate. They returned to Dallas to be close to family and Lived at Heritage Ranch in Fairview and begin their 2nd retirement. Harlan is survived by a daughter, Gail Ainsworth and son-in-law, Richard of Fairview; son, Glenn and wife, Starla of Houston; son, Layne Green of Dallas; 4 Grand Children, Colton Green and Bethany Cartmill of Houston, Tyler and Preston Green of Loveland, CO; 6 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A celebration of Harlan’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday April 8th, 2018 at Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club. 465 Scenic Ranch Circle, Fairview, TX 75069.
