My condolences to the Hamaker family in their loss. I have only fond memories of my 20 year association with him. His leadership, character, and his general example to his peers will be greatly missed by all of us. My first remembrance of him was sitting in his Sunday School class and listening him share to us from God's word. He will not be forgotten.

Harley, Celeste and boys visited mine and Celestes' hometown in Talladega, at least every year. We all loved to see them coming especially
my parents. When there was ANYTHING to be done, Harley was the first to jump up and with a grin on his face. I wanted to see his grin one more time but cancer killed him before I could get there.

Harley was so special to me and to our Freeman Heights Acteens. He was so smart, we knew we could go to him for any financial advise. He was always so willing to help with any project that we had at a meeting. Harley was so friendly, all the girls really enjoyed being around him. He made them all feel cared for. We will miss Harley's sweet smile and kind spirit.
