Harold Wesley Ford's Obituary
Harold Ford passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 83. He was born on June 28, 1938 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Arthur and Hazel Ford.
Harold married the love of his life, Lillie Mae on August 7th, 1959. They were married for almost 52 years before she passed in 2011.
After serving in the military from 1956-1959 where he attended the Anti-aircraft Artillery & guided missile School at Fort Bliss, he joined Texas Instruments as an Electrical Engineer. Throughout his 32 yr. career at TI, he received several awards of excellence and was named in a letter of commendation presented to the Chairman, President & CEO Jerry R. Junkins from the Federal Aviation Administration. During his tenured career, he held many positions. At the time of his retirement in 1996, he managed the Navigation-Attack Radar Programs, Radar & Ocean Surveillance Products and the Defense Systems & Electronics Group.
He is survived by his three children: Kathy Totten & husband Karey, David Ford & wife Krystal and Kim Hammond. Four grandchildren: Louis Ford & wife Mary Ellen, Nicole Pfeifer and husband Mikel, Will Hammond & Kara Totten. Two great grandchildren: Violet Pfeifer and Lilian Jo Ford.
