Harold D. Goodpaster's Obituary
GOODPASTER, DOUG a Richardson resident, passed away Tuesday, January 9 from pancreatic cancer. He was 66. Doug worked for Texas Instruments for 43 years, in Sherman and Dallas, Texas. He was the author of several patents and most recently worked in the wireless division in Dallas as a technology manager. Doug was a wonderful provider for his family and a loyal friend. He enjoyed travel, music (especially jazz), and solving problems. He is survived by his wife, Pat; children, Robin and Brad; Pat’s children, Scotty and Charlene; and brother, David. He was born October 28, 1940 in Gary, Indiana. Doug had a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University. Visitation will be from 3-5 pm Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:00 pm at Restland Memorial Chapel Dallas, TX, Monday, January 15, 2007.
