Graveside services for Harold Jones, CLU, will be held 10 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Restland Memorial Park. Harold was born October 22, 1930, in Greenville, TX to Henry and Edith Jones. Harold attended schools and graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1948 and The American College as a Chartered Life Underwriter in 1967. Harold begin his professional career as an Assistant National Bank Examiner followed by nine years as a bank officer, concluding as an agent for Northwestern Mutual Life from 1971 to 2010. Harold married his high school sweetheart, Alline Owens, in 1949 and they were happily married 62 years. Harold lived in Lubbock for over 60 years, was a devoted civic leader in the community, and loved serving his church. He worked in the life insurance industry and was active until his retirement at age 80. Harold was known for his lifelong commitment for service to his professional industry, the Lubbock community, mischievous nature, dry wit, love for his fellow man, and all animals. Harold is survived by daughter and son-in law, Laura and John Hull of Frisco, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Susie Jones of Frisco, TX; grandson, David Hull and wife Jennifer and their sons, Ryan and Harrison; grandson, Mark Hull and his son Holt; granddaughter, Kelly Will and her husband Nate, and their daughter Emma and son, Brooks; sister, Christine Hilton of Lubbock; and numerous extended relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by Alline Jones and Henry and Edith Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to VNA Hospice of McKinney or Saddle Brook Memory Care of Frisco.
