Harold Edward Jones' Obituary
Harold Edward Jones passed away peacefully November 2, 2017 in Dallas, TX (home of the Dallas Cowboys). He was born October 18, 1929 in Abilene, Texas, and was 88 at the time of his death. Hal was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessa Huddleston Jones, mother Mildred Damron Johnson, father Joseph Jones, stepfather Jimmy Johnson, sons David and Chris, and brother R.E. (Bunky) Johnson. Hal is survived by sons Rik (wife Jo-i and grandson Ansel), Greg, and James (partner Cindy House and granddaughter Jasmine). He is also survived by granddaughters Anna (fiancée Doug Youmans) and Robin (husband Zach Lewitz), brother Bob Johnson (wife Marcia), and daughter in law Barbara, as well as by extended family and many good friends. Hal was a lifelong musician and played with bands across the metroplex. The family looks forward to greeting friends Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 4-6PM at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the Restland Memorial Chapel Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:30PM.
