Harold Edward Kattner's Obituary
Harold Edward Kattner of Lake Limestone, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026, in Waco, Texas. Harold will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend to all who knew and loved him. He was born on December 17, 1942, in Orange, Texas, to Emil and Lore Kattner. Harold dedicated over 32 years of service to Lone Star Gas Company, where he also met the love of his life, Linda Kattner. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Harold had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in deer hunting and fishing. He was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed cheering on his favorite team. Above all, Harold cherished his family and the time spent with those he loved most. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Kattner; his daughters, Deborah Ballard, Deanna Brogden and husband Jeff, Amanda Olivarez and husband Manny; and Jason Hall. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Kattner and wife Susan. Harold and Linda were blessed with 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Lore Kattner; his brother, Doyle Kattner; and his son, David. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Harold’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
