Harold Steven North Jr.'s Obituary
Harold Steven North Jr. (Junior), 82, of Mesquite, TX passed away on January 2nd, 2020 at 9:27 PM in hospice care, after a five-year battle from Alzheimer’s. Visitation for Harold Steven North Jr. will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2020 from 10:15 am-11:00 am at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am in Memorial Park located at Restland Cemetery 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX.
Harold was born on September 21, 1937 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to Harold Steven North Sr. & Ollie Mae Dennison North. He retired in the early 90s, from years of service at Arco Oil as a licensed truck driver designated to in-state drives. His deep love for work and cars shined through in his personality and he was known to be a lover of Chevy but hated Ford.
He could hold a conversation for hours over why one was better than the other,occasionally even in his sleep. Harold is survived by his sister, Mary May as well as multiple generations of nieces/nephews and other family and friends. His passing comes just weeks after his sister Janie Perdue.
