Harold Wayne Scoggins' Obituary
Harold Wayne Scoggins was born at home on July 29, 1937 in Bogata, TX to Loyd and Lula Scoggins. He passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the age of 82 from complications related to kidney disease. During Harolds childhood, the family moved to Richardson and then on to South Oak Cliff where Harold was a member of the Golden Bears, a city championship football team. He graduated in 1956. He then attended college at SMU, and University of Texas at Arlington.He began his career at Collins Radio in 1959. After several buyouts Harold retired from Alcatel. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Scoggins, and two brothers Charles and Gerold and daughter Darla Fadel. He is survived by his daughter Donna Sivley and her husband Don of Mesquite Tx and daughter Debbie Weaver of Richardson Tx and very special and precious sweetheart Deidra Russell of Richardson TX. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Harold was an avid golfer and loved to read. He loved country music and was a great dancer. He was a strong believer in Jesus and a strong prayer warrior.
