Harold Leslie Snyder's Obituary
Harold served his nation proudly in the US Army, as a cook, driver, supply clerk, marksman, and ultimately a Master Sergeant. During his service he was awarded the Seal of Good Conduct. He left the military in 1961 but remained active in the VA and became a corrections officer at the Correction Institution at Seagoville. In his free time, Harold enjoyed gardening, bird watching, shopping at flea markets, hunting, fishing, and square dancing. Harold was preceded in death by his parents Joseph David and Ruth Wickwire Snyder; and brother, Conrad Calvin “Connie” Synder. He is survived by his daughters Jill Snyder Ash, Elizabeth Snyder, and Susan Snyder McDaniel; and his beloved dog, “Little Girl”. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org
