Harold A. Stewart's Obituary
Born November 11, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away December 16, 2015 in Richardson, Texas. Harold was a loving father and husband. He served his country in the Army in Germany during the Korean War where he achieved the rank of corporal. He was a longtime employee of Rawlings in St. Louis and Dallas and Dalco Athletic Lettering. Harold was a longtime member of Messiah Lutheran Church serving in many capacities. He enjoyed bowling, golf and square dancing. He was a kind and faithful friend and will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by parents, James and Eva Stewart; wife, Neva Stewart; and brother, James Stewart. Survived by: daughters, Sandy Spott and husband, Tim, of Flower Mound; Cindy Baldner and husband, David, of Lubbock; grandchildren, T.J. Spott and wife, Jessica (who are delivering him a great-great grandson in March), Kaitlyn Spott, Sarah Baldner, and Philip Baldner; sisters, Virginia Manning of Farmington, Missouri; and June Valentine and husband, Dale, of Tampa, Florida; as well many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Services will be help on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00am at Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church Plano, Texas.
