I have wondered what became of Harold and Betty and their children. Knowing that Harold and Betty were close to my parents' age, I was not surprised to see they had passed when searching for them, but was so happy to see that they apparently did live long, rich, godly lives. They are such a precious part of my life. Harold was the preacher at the Northridge Church of Christ in Dayton, Ohio when I was a girl. He presented lessons in our home to my parents and as a result, my mom was baptized and became a very active member of the church there. Later, he baptized me and my youngest sister. My youngest sister, Vivian, and Teresa were good friends. I've wished many times that I could listen to one of Harold's sermons again. Such a wonderful, happy man and lovely family. Always remember Betty sitting in the pew with the children and always wearing a pretty hat. Very pretty lady and so sweet and gentle. I remember getting to a youth get together at the Moorefield's farm late and running to jump into the farm wagon and landing on Harold's ankle. I felt so bad. I can't begin to tell you the wonderful example and influence Harold and his family had on so many at Northridge and they continue to be remembered with love there. I am now married, for going on 57 years and my husband and all five children were baptized at the Northridge church building. Harold's Person to Person material is still being passed around and appreciated. I pray all of his loved ones will continue to find comfort and strength in the Lord and the legacy left them, as I am sure he and Betty are sorely missed still. In His love,
