Harold Willis Waterman's Obituary
Harold Waterman of Dallas, TX died June 12, 2017 of Cancer. He was born November 7, 1933 to Robert and Texie Waterman. He married Randy on February 6, 1992 in Las Vegas, NV. He was an Electrical Engineer for more than 40 years prior to retirement. Most of his years were spent on many Dallas area major electrical projects such as Texas Instruments; American Airlines; Texas Cowboys Stadium; Baylor Hospital; Potter’s House with T.D.Jakes and many more over the years as a project manager. Harold served as a member of a Barbershop Quartet in his early ‘singing’ days. He loved to square dance, and just dance as his mother owned Waterman Dance Studio for more than 45 years locally in Dallas. Both his sister Texie Jane Waterman original choreographer of the Dallas Cowboys in 1960 and he, enjoyed dancing as they grew up in an environment surrounded by songs and a variety of music. He served in the Navy from 1953-1959 as a Lieutenant starting with the ROTC at Rice University. Preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy K. Waterman; sister, Texie Jane Howard. He is survived by sons, Mark Waterman, Robert Waterman, Michael Waterman. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 and all day Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. The service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2017 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
