Harold R. Williams' Obituary
Harold R. Williams died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born on October 1, 1922 in Venus, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II stationed in Hawaii. He worked several years as a licensed real estate broker in Dallas, TX followed by a career with the U.S. Department of Labor. He retired after 29 years as a Budget and Accounting Officer. Harold is preceded in death by his wife Virginia J. Williams, parents Ben and Grace Williams, brothers Ralph, Doug, Jack, Joe, Ross, Benny; and sisters, Willa Lee, Edna Earl and Lois. He is survived by children Glenda Klingelhoffer and husband Jay; Curtis Williams and wife Liz; Sue Ann Anderson and husband David; Pam Simerley, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and sister, Dessie Dracup. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. A small family graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10:30AM at Restland Memorial Park, visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or any veterans organization.
