Harold Dean Williams' Obituary
Harold Dean Williams was born March 25, 1934 in Rogers, TX to the late Silas Edward and Ida Mae (Calhoun) Williams and passed away August 10, 2020 in Mesquite, Texas. In 1951, he graduated from Garland High School and attended S.M.U. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Before retiring, he worked many years as a linen services general manager. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Virginia, Wilma, Floyd, Lloyd, Thomas, and Richard; and daughter Deanne Williams, our beloved O’pa is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ouida; sons: Rex (Sophie)Williams, Erik (Elida) Buchanan; daughters: Kathy (Ronnie) Pelletier, Dondi (Rick) Van Meter; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Tiffany), Kimberly (Matt), Derek, Carly, James, Nathan, Ashley, Rex Jr. (Angela); 12 great-grandchildren; and many beloved family members. Graveside services for the family will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, August 14th with Brother Elmer Sarratt officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Friendship Baptist Church, 820 Pioneer Road, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
