Harry Jean Alderman's Obituary
Harry Jean Alderman, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Garland, Texas. He was born on November 19, 1929, in Binghamton, New York. Harry leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him
A Service will be Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
Due to current restrictions, the funeral service officiated by Pastor Tom Houston will be live streamed Tuesday April 5th, 2022 at 2:00 PM. His service will be available for later viewing on the Restland website.
Harry went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 15th, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Erma, infant son Christopher, parents and three siblings.
He leaves behind daughter Heather, daughter Laura and her partner Rick, grandson David his wife Priscilla and great-grandson Dominic, granddaughter Jennifer and great-granddaughters Karlie and Avi and cherished extended family and friends.
He was born in Binghamton NY and after graduation enlisted in the United States Air Force. After 20 years of service, he retired In 1969 and moved his family to Texas. Both Harry snd Erma began work at Texas Instruments.
He earned an Associate of Applied Science degree at Eastfield College. He also began a computer ministry that he continued for many years.
After 20 years at TI Harry and Erma retired and began to travel to visit family, friends and fellow retirees and enjoyed cruises to Alaska and Hawaii.
Harry and Erma were married 52 years at the time of her passing in 2008.
