Harry “Skip” Cleveland Forbes, Jr., age 71, was born to parents Harry Cleveland Forbes, Sr. and Jean Brackeen in Paris, Texas on November 27, 1946. He passed away on the evening of Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Richardson, Texas. Skip proudly served in the United States Marines. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him.The family requests that visiting hours be observed for Mr. Forbes, Jr. be observed from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service for Skip will take place on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
