Harry Porter McClintock's Obituary
MCCLINTOCK, HARRY PORTER Died Mar. 13, 2012 in Dallas, TX. at the age of 88 years. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa on May 25, 1923 to Lillian and Harry P. McClintock. He was a graduate of Perry High School, Pittsburgh, Pa. and of the University of Pittsburgh as Petroleum Engineer. He first worked at the Oil and Gas Comm. State of Ark. before going with Atlantic Refining Co. In 1944 he married Edna Waldenville of Allison Park, Pa. and they came to Longview, TX. for their first home. The next year they were transferred to Dallas in 1951, he went with Harvey Oil Co. of Abilene, TX. and moved to Midland, TX. He later became managing partner of Antelope Gas Products plant in Kimball, Neb. He retired back to Dallas in 1974 and continued working as a natural gas consultant engineer. Survived by his wife Edna; daughters, Kay McClintock of Arlington, TX., Eileen McClintock of Glendale, Cal., Marilyn McClintock of Ada, Okla. and by a son, Harry P. McClintock III and his wife Linda of Plano, TX. and 2 grandsons, Andrew and Patrick McClintock. Memorials may be made to the McCall’s Communities, facility for mentally and physically handicap at 3546 County Rd 3600, Ada, Okla.,74820. Private services will be held at a later date.
