Harry W. Shaw's Obituary
Harry Worth Shaw, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on January 27, 2015 from complications with a head injury on December 31, 2014. Harry was born on September 08, 1931 in Pecan Gap Texas to Myron Worth and Lorene Georgia Shaw. His families are descendants from early Texas Pioneers. He grew up in Pecan Gap Texas and Dallas Texas. He served in the Army 2 years during the Korean War. He worked for International Harvester/Navistar for over 30 years. Once retired, he worked for another 22 years at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. before finally retiring from a second career. He was a recognized leader in his industry for procurement and parts inventory management and was sought out for his insight and his innovations that helped his organization greatly. He was a true visionary in his industry and will be greatly missed. He married Charymaine Babb on August 12, 1974 and they have been in love ever since. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother George Ballard Shaw. He is survived by his wife Charymaine, his sister Tommie Joe, his 8 Children and their spouses plus 16 grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren. Immediate Children are: Patsy Jean Bailey, David Worth Shaw, Gregory Stanley Harmon, David Stanley Harmon, Sherrye Leigh Harmon, Forrest Scott Shaw, Mark Edward Shaw and James Maxwell Shaw. Harry was a great role model, mentor and dedicated to his loving wife and faith. He will be greatly missed by all. Family will receive friends on January 29, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM CST at Restland Funeral Home.
