Harry Wilkerson's Obituary
Mr. Harry Wilkerson, age 80, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on April 6, 2019, in Terrell, Texas of Alzheimer’s. He was born on June 22, 1938, to his loving and thoughtful parents W. M. Wilkerson and Fern Wilkerson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Harry Wilkerson married Helen Griffith on December 24, 1990 in Garland, Texas. Harry worked at Oilwell supply USX for 32 years. Harry was a gifted athlete who lettered in many sports in high school. He excelled in Baseball, Wrestling, and Boxing. Later in life he continued to play fast-pitched softball and golf. Harry Served in the Armed Forces for 4 years then another 2 years in the National Guard. He was a father, brother, and husband. His silly humor and love for his country will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, W. M. (Pete) Wilkerson and Fern Wilkerson and Larry William Wilkerson. Harry is survived by his wife, Helen Wilkerson, his daughter, Michelle Sarrett, and sons, Ben Wilkerson, David Manneli, and Doug Manneli, 9 grandchildren: Jaysonn Mammeli, Jennifer Fuentas, Dustinn Mammeli, Darinn Mammeli, Madeline Michelle Francis, Kenzie Mammeli, Zoe Sarrett, Carter Mammeli and Kylee Mammeli. 5 great-grandchildren: Addi Black, Jose Fuentas, Romeo Fuentas, Ava Fuentas and Eden Mammeli he will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. Visitation for Harry Wilkerson will be held at 1:00 pm on April 13, 2019 in the Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on April 13, 2019 tt Restland Memorial Chapel located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
