Harvey Leon Brown's Obituary
BROWN, HARVEY LEON Born April 26, 1930 in Kingfisher, OK passed away May 15, 2012 in Dallas, TX surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Harvey and Anna Belle Brown, sister Dona Jean & Cecil Schoelen, sister Etrulia Brown, all of Kingfisher. Harvey is survived by his wife Lavonne, daughter Rhonda, son Rodney, daughter-in-law Renee’, and granddaughter Ashton Brown of Dallas, sister Vivian & Truman Wood, brother Dorsey & Joyce Brown of Kingfisher, and many nieces and nephews. Harvey proudly served with the 45th Infantry Division during the Korean War. Following military service he attended Oklahoma A&M College (now OSU). In 1957 he and Lavonne moved to Dallas where he worked as a CPA for Arthur Andersen & Co. until his resignation in 1978 as partner. He then became an owner of CAM Audio, Inc., where he continued working in that industry until his death. His other interests included art, history, music and travel. Harvey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His dedication to his family and untiring work ethic has been an inspiration to all who knew him. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 25th 2012, 3 pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 3 Angels Broadcasting Network c/o CAM Audio, 2210 Executive Dr., Garland, TX 75041 or to the National MS Society, 2105 Luna Road, Ste. 390, Carrollton, TX 75006.
