Harvey Moore's Obituary
Born February 11, 1922 in Patrick, TX and passed away September 8, 2011 in Rockett, TX. He fought with the “Big Red 1” in World War II in North Africa Sicily, Normandy and into Czechoslavakia and Germany. Harvey retired from the City of Garland and was a member of Purple Heart Chapter #542. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Moore; daughters Linda Casper and husband Jimmy, Ellen Prude and husband Charles, Carol Yorkey and husand David, Cheryl Moore: son Harvey E. Moore and wife Patti; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and brothers, Luther Moore and Billy Charles Moore and wife Marie. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, September 12th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 13th at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
