Hazel Kelly Carr's Obituary
Hazel Kelly Carr was born to the parents of Lizzie Jackson and Altin Kelly on June 12, 1935 in Tyler, TX. She received her education at Burnett High School. Hazel worked for Princeton Independent School District for 23 years. She was a faithful member of St. James Baptist Church; she served as the church secretary, treasurer, and was on the usher board. Hazel was called home on December 10, 2014; she was preceded in Death by her husband, R.T. Carr; her mother Lizzie Jackson; father Altin Kelly; and step daughter Gladys Carr. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Roy Thomas Carr of Dallas, TX and Travis Lee Carr of Mesquite, Tx; three daughters, Dorothy Hall of Dallas, Tx, Linda Brown(James) of Dallas, TX, and Pamela Carr of Dallas, TX; one step daughter, Jennifer D. Ingram of Greenville, TX; and two daughter-in-laws, Barbara Carr of Dallas, Tx and Clorisa Carr of Dallas, Tx. She had sixteen wonderful grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, one sister Mattie C. Chester of Garland, Tx, and one brother, Melvin Webb of Garland, Tx; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The visitation for Hazel Carr will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Hazel Carr will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:30pm at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
