Hazel Pamela Griffith's Obituary
Hazel Pamela Griffith, 66, of Rowlett, Texas passed away on March 27, 2020 in Horizon City, Texas.
Hazel was born on July 24, 1953 to Herbert Williams and Mavis (McKay) Williams in Mahica, Guyana. She married John A. Griffith on June 9, 1979 in Georgetown, Guyana and worked as a Teacher's Aide for Richardson Independent School District. Hazel was also a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church.
Hazelwas preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Herbert, David and Malcolm Williams.
She is survived by her husband, John A Griffith of Rowlett, TX; daughter, Scarlet T. Harris and son-in-law, Correy Harris of Horizon City, TX; grandchildren: Jasmine Harris, 18; Correy Harris Jr., 14 and Jaidyn Harris, 6; sisters: Doreen Hoggard and husband Willie of Rowlett, TX, Pomille Williams of Garland, TX and Cheryl Watkins of Suriname; brother, Clairmonte Williams and wife, Kim Clarke-Williams, of Rowlett, TX; brother-in-law, Patrick Fanfair; nieces and nephews: Renee Barnes, Noel Williams Jr., Sandy Griffith, June-Ann Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, Shondelle Griffith, Tanya Griffith, Haile Williams, Crystal Fulton, Jennifer Hoggard, Sherman Griffith, Asantie Williams, LaToya Williams, Alexis Williams, Marlon Griffith, Marlesa Howald and Trevone Williams.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 5, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home.
Private graveside services will be held.
