Hazel Jeanette Loosier's Obituary
Hazel Jeanette Jenkins Loosier was born into this life on May 15th, 1936 and passed into the presence of Jesus on December 18th, 2019. Hazel was born in Donaldsonville, Georgia. She was the oldest of two daughters born to Louis and Wille Mae Jenkins. Hazel moved to Dallas, Texas in 1950 and met the love of her life. She was married to her long-time sweetheart, Robert D. Loosier on May 23th, 1953. She attended Crozier Technical High School in Dallas. Hazel worked at Hollywood Vassarette and later retired from Western Electric (now AT&T). She and her husband purchased a home in the historic district in the City of Ennis, Texas in 1987. After a lengthy illness, they were separated by death after 66 years of marriage.
Hazel was preceded In death by both of her Parents and her only Sister, Doris Connell. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert D. Loosier; 3 children: Robert Earl Loosier (Carrollton, Texas); Patricia Ann Finch (Ennis, Texas); Linda Kay Jones (Ennis, Texas); 1 Son-In-Law and 1 Daughter-In-Law, William Jones (Ennis, Texas) and Judy Young Loosier (Carrollton, Texas) . . . 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren . . . a number of loving nieces and nephews, and a host of close friends and loving church Family members. Family visitation will be Sunday, December 22nd, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville, Ave., Dallas, Texas. Hazel’s Celebration Of Life Service will be in Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., with a brief grave site service to follow.
