Hazel Elizabeth Watson's Obituary
Hazel Elizabeth Watson, age 96, beloved Mother, and Grandmother, affectionately known as "Emaw" passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas.
She was born on January 1, 1927, in Corsicana, Texas to Gladys and Dock Brown. She moved to Dallas in 1956. Hazel loved the Lord, her family and friends.
She was a homemaker and a professional seamstress. She made her own patterns to use when sewing her dresses, and shirts for her husband and son. She had an exceptional talent for crocheting and spent endless hours creating beautiful afghans.
She was blessed with musical talent as demonstrated in her playing the guitar and singing with her sisters at church. She spent endless hours teaching her son, Billy to play the guitar as a child.
Hazel is survived by her son, Billy Harper Watson and his wife, Vickie; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fredrick (Bill) Watson, her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandson, Dakota Watson.
