Helen Callie Barton's Obituary
Callie was born and raised in Miami, OK, the middle child of 3 to Claude and Enid Harper. She moved to Dallas, TX when she was 19 and married her husband of 60 years, Lemuel Barton. They had 2 children Rodger Lee and Carol Diane. Callie was preceded in death by her son Rodger and husband Lemuel. She is survived by her daughter Carol, 3 grandchildren Chris, Erin and Michael and 3 great grandchildren Charlotte, Ian and Daniel. Callie had a big heart, always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time outdoors doing activities such as going for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood and yard work. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
