Helen I. Blackmore was born June 15, 1928 in Niobrara County, Wyoming and passed away July 13, 2009 at her home in Garland Texas. She is survived by 2 sons, Tony Blackmore of Arlington and R. Gene Blackmore and wife, Dolores of Me Read Obituary
I was very saddened to hear about Helen. I have many fond memories of working with her at Anthem. She was so proud of her family and loved to talk about her children and grandchildren. She was such a sweet and kind person and will be greatly missed. Sending you my deepest sympathy.
Helen and Norma Rae have always been our favorite aunts and our memories go back to when we were little and they were foxy young ladies. We had lots of laughs and a few tears through the years. We will miss our "Aunt Helen" but she'll always be in our hearts and prayers. Our love to all.

We were so sorry to hear of our Aunt Helen's passing. We send our love and condolences to her family. We have lovely memories of her, but especially her many kindnesses to our mother and Nana, Shirley, when she was ill the summer of 1994, as well as to our family. She was there for all of us that summer and helped us in ways she never knew. Just having her there every day was a comfort and such a help.
