Helen Beatrice Bulham's Obituary
Helen Beatrice Bulham, 90, of Garland, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 18, 2015 in her home. She was born on April 14, 1924 in Alvord, TX to parents Curtis and Una Sorrells. Helen was a member of Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland, TX. She worked for the Garland Independent School District as a Cafeteria Manager for 25 years and then retired. She was a loving, giving, caring, and spiritual woman, always putting others before herself. Helen was the rock of not only her family but many families through the years. Any person Helen came in contact with was touched and taught a life lesson. She is survived by her sister Curtis Burks and brother Harlen Capps; son, Samuel Hillin and wife Shann Hillin; grandchildren, Teneille Darby-Bentley and husband John Bentley (Chuck), Ron Darby and wife Lorraine Darby, Suzanne Darby-Perez and husband Jo Perez, Colby Darby, Chris Hillin and wife Tania Hillin, and Jordan Hillin; great grandchildren, Clayton Darby, Bailie Atherton, Colton Rivers, and Triston Darby. Helen is preceded in death by her father and mother Curtis and Una Sorrells; siblings, Frank Sorrells, Byron Sorrells, Bill Sorrells, Myrna Moreno, Wynona Welty; husband John Robert Bulham, and daughter Sherrie Suzanne Esparza. The visitation for Helen Bulham will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Helen Bulham will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00pm at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
