My mother, Sara Stripling Jenkins, and Rhealene were first cousins. My grandmother, Allene Stripling, and Helen Bowden were sisters. I admired her beauty, and always thought her name is the most beautiful name I have ever heard. My condolences to Jason and his family.
Today is Easter, April 9, 2023. I’m missing the usual phone call from my dear friend, Rhealene. I’ve spoken with her on most special holidays over the years, and Easter was one of those occasions. Her service a few weeks ago was a lovely remembrance of a special person in my own life, and in the lives of members of my immediate family. Rhealene was around for the births of my nieces and nephews, and for numerous special family gatherings at birthdays and at Christmas time.
The entire James family sends our love, and condolences to Jason and Kelly, and their daughters, Rhealene’s granddaughters. She loved you all- WE love you, too.
I cannot remember a time when I did not know Rhealene. A dear group of us were in the baby nursery together at North Dallas Baptist Church and grew up together in that church. She will be missed. Sincere condolences to her family.
