Helen Cook, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 4,2019 in Plano, Texas. Helen Cook was born on September 20, 1928 to her loving and thoughtful parents Edward James Anderson Jr. and Mable Myrick Anderson in Milford, TX. Helen Cook will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her husband James Cook and siblings Wanda Eeds, Mona Carrell and James Anderson. Helen is survived by her son, Todd Rolater of Dallas, TX.Raised in Waxahachie, TX, she spent her adult life as a long time resident of Dallas, TX. She got her professional career started at Oak Farms, part of the Southland Corporation, now known as 7-Eleven. At Southland Corporation she worked her way up to a personal secretary in the Human Resources Department.A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.Reception to follow the service at the Gaston Christian Center, 8515 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Tx.Funeral arrangements for Helen Cook have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
