She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Deaton; parents George and Annie Black; sisters, Elsie Black, Marjorie Worsham and Gene Thompson; brother, Robert Black; sister-in-law Virginia Black; nephews, Bruce Thompson, Bobby Worsham. She is survived by her neices and nephews: Susan Wendorf, Janice Goode, Becky Bilheimer, David Thompson, Carol Hamilton; as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
