Helen Virginia Fisher's Obituary
Helen Virginia Sansing, 99, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on December 19, 2019. Helen was born on June 7,1920 near Cooper, Texas in Delta County to T. M. “Johnson” Sansing and Nannie Mae Craven. After her mother died when she was young, she was fortunate enough to have a loving stepmother, Edith Sansing. Helen was married to Lovell Fisher for 46 years. Helen loved to sew, quilt, work in her flower garden as well as being a wonderful cook. She greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, stepmother and brother Coy Sansing.
Helen is survived by her son Tommy Fisher (Rita) of Mesquite. Grandsons Chris Fisher (Natasha) of Port Arthur, Craig Thomas (Lavender) of Garland. Great-grandsons Donovan Fisher and Jon Jeter. Great-granddaughters Callie Fisher (Justin), Cheyenne Wilson (Daniel) and Chelsea Petre (Fritz). Great-great-grandchildren Landon, Lynnley, Lane, Paisley, Harrison and Gideon. Brothers Thad W.Sansing (Shirley) of Coleman, Eugene Sansing of Greenville and sister Maggie Harris of Yantis. Numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation for Helen Virginia Fisher will be held Monday, December 23, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel, with funeral service immediately following at 10:00 AM also in the Wildwood Chapel.
