Born on June 1, 1924 in Frederick, SD and passed away on January 13, 2009 in Garland, TX. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Garrett; son, Gerald Johnson; four daughters: Catherine Thomas, JoAnne Southard, Janet Pope, Susan Beaurline; three brothers: Kermit, Jim, and Leonard Olson; sisters: Evelyn Hersom and Alice Hopfinger; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Friday January 16, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10AM Saturday January 17, 2009 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
