Mrs. Helen Candace Keen's Obituary
Mrs. Keen was born on September 23, 1947 and passed away on Monday, September 3, 2007. Mrs. Keen was a resident of Dallas, Texas at the time of her passing. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1965. She received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and continued her studies, receiving a master’s degree in special education from Texas Woman’s University. She is survived by her husband James. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 7, at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery at 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers, Candee’s family asks that donations be made to the Candee Keen Race Relations Fund at The Hockaday School, c/o Candee Keen, 11600 Welch Road, Dallas, Texas 75229.
