Helen Ruth Keene's Obituary
Helen Ruth Gabriel Keene Born February 13, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee and passed away November 19, 2016 in Kaufman, Texas Mrs. Keene was preceded in death by her parents, M.W and Euince Roberts Gabriel; sister, Willie Jean Brantley; her son, James M. Keene and her loving husband, Retired Sgt. James W. Keene. She is survived by her children, Brenda Kay Keene Marosi of Kaufman Texas, Polly Ruth Keene Galloway of Groesbeck Texas, Earl VanDorn Keene of Leander Texas; numerous grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Family will receive friends on December 2, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 3 PM at Wildwood Chapel Restland Dallas, Texas. Funeral service will be held on December 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Wildwood Chapel Restland Dallas Texas. Mrs. Keene spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She traveled the country with her family while her husband served in the United States Army. Their travels took them all over the United States and one tour in the Hawaiian Islands prior to it becoming the 50th state. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman Texas. Helen will be missed by her family and friends and all of the lives she touched. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
