Helen Louise LaRocca's Obituary
LaRocca, Helen Skuban Loving wife, mother and friend, passed away Saturday, June 19th, 2010. Born December 14, 1923 in Emigh, Pennsylvania, to John and Susan Skuban. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, John and Mike, and her sister Mary Stepsis. Helen was a caring, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her deep faith and love for God reflected in all of her daily actions. The center of her life was her relationship with God, her husband and family. Her strong, generous and nurturing ways provided comfort and help to many. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Mitch Sr. and her children, daughter Mechelle and sons Mitch Jr. and Ken, along with her grand children, Christina and Kevin LaRocca. Visitation 7pm & Vigil at 7:30pm Wednesday evening both at St. Rita Catholic Church. A funeral mass and celebration of her life will be Thursday, June 24th at 10am. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jesuit Retirement Fund; c/o the New Orleans Provence of the Society of Jesus; 500 S.
