Helen Pappas Leming's Obituary
Born July 31, 1920 in Texarkana, TX and quietly passed away February 12, 2009 in Carrollton, TX. Helen worked for the Dallas Morning News in the Advertising Art Department. She was a very gifted artist and she will be remembered by her works. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John Leming; brothers, Angelo Pappas, Billy Pappas, Bobby Pappas and Jimmy Pappas; sister, Mary Chustz. She is survived by her son, Tom Leming; 3 sisters, Betty Partain, Velma “Teenie” LeGrande and Carolyn Duncan; brother, Chuck Pappas, Jr.; and she will be greatly missed by numerous other relatives, cousins, nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30PM, Monday, February 16, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. In leiu of flowers, send memorials to Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd or the Alzhiemer’s Association.
