She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews all that called her, “Mama Helen”. She is also loved by many friends from church and her neighborhood. Our mother was a believer in Our Lord and Savior. She loved him more than life. She wanted all to know him, anyone who passed her….. It’s in the bible to spread the Good News! She loved her family, “my boys and my daughter” as she would say. She adored her mother who told her of God Our Father. She loved her father, who was such a hard worker. She prayed for her family and children every day. My mother worked hard all her life. As I look at her pictures, her eyes glowing of happiness. I found her crying, she said they were tears of joy….her savior died for HER. God gave his only begotten son. My mother loved me unconditionally. She told me, she showed me, and she wrote it down. She let my brothers and I know how much she loved us. She was proud of us. We are who we are because of her life. I know she is in heaven, but hopefully not worried for us, just enjoying the glory promised to us. We love you mom.
