Machock, Helen Elizabeth's Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Machock, born on February 11, 1951, in Lexington, Kentucky was sent to her eternal life on February 4th 2025 at the age of 73 in Carrollton Texas. She was the daughter of the late William Hearn, MD and Juanita Hearn, RN and the sister of her beloved sister and brother Hebe Lutz and John William Hearn. Helen led a life of service to others, touching countless lives with her unwavering commitment to healthcare and her sweet, caring and loving nature.
Helen graduated at the top of her class as a registered nurse, a testament to her exceptional intelligence and tireless work ethic. She was deeply respected and admired by both colleagues and patients for her professional expertise and her ability to provide comfort, compassion, and care during even the most difficult times. She worked in various healthcare settings as an Emergency Room nurse, Head Charge Nurse, CCU Nurse, ICU Nurse, Hospice Nurse, and Executive Vice President of Medicare regulations for StoneGate Senior Care. Helen ensured always that her patients received the highest level of care and attention.
Helen's nursing career was defined not only by her clinical skill but also by the kindness and compassion she showed to every person she encountered. Helen's motto was to treat every individual as if they were a member of your family. Providing them with the level of care that a mother, father or child would provide for their loved ones. She had the unique ability of making all those around her feel safe, supported, and valued.
Outside of her professional life, Helen was a devoted mother of three boys. She worked tirelessly for her family as a provider and homemaker. Helen was a wonderful cook, an extensive gardener and was always willing to bestow her knowledge of cooking and gardening to others. She had a wonderful way of always making everyone feel at home and touched the lives of not only her family but everyone she encountered.
Helen is survived by her three sons and three daughters in laws; Jim and Carolyn Machock of Carrollton, Texas. John and Nicole Machock of Castle Pines, Colorado and Ben and Angie Machock of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Helen was preceded in death by her life partner George Ingram and survived by the father of her three sons, George Machock. Helen is also survived by seven grandchildren, Payton Machock, Nick Machock, Blake Machock, Lauren Machock, Julia Machock, Peter Machock, and Tory Machock.
Helen's love of her family, compassion, and joy of life will be sadly missed.
