Helen Fern Slaughter, 91, was born on January 18, 1927 to parents Henry Thompson and Georgia Lillian Seaman in Dallas, Texas. She passed on February 12, 2018 in Plano, Texas. Helen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband and parents.She is survived by her daughters, Denise Petty of Allen, Texas and Susan Day of Richardson, Texas, and son Clarence Slaughter of Fort Worth, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildrenThe family requests that visiting hours be from 5-8 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mrs. Slaughter will be on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
