HEMPHILL, Carolyn Orine Hemphill, 78, of Dallas, TX died peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was born August 24, 1940.Carolyn married Hilton on June 12, 1964. They had a loving marriage that lasted over 54 years. She and Hilton raised four sons together. Carolyn had a vibrant faith in her Savior Jesus Christ and served the church in many ways through teaching and singing.She is survived by her husband, Hilton Hemphill and their four sons and families. Harlton and Wendy Hemphill of Andrews, TX; Hayden and Mishal Hemphill of Texarkana, TX; Clayton and Teresa Hemphill of Orlando, FL and Carter Hemphill of Washington, D.C. Carolyn’s pride and joy were her nine grandchildren; Corban, Aubrey, Caleb, Walker, Rachel, Avery, Mollie, Parker and Arden. She is also survived by her sisters; Sharon Flippin and Linda Gaston and their families.Graveside services will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM Park Cities Baptist Church; 3933 Northwest Highway; Dallas 75225.Donations can be made in her name to Summaritan Purse Disaster Relief or Park Cities Baptist Church Women’s Ministry.
