Henry Walton Killion's Obituary
KILLION, HENRY (HANK) WALTON Hank was called by the Lord on January 30, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer for well over a year. He participated in a clinical trial evaluating a new treatment of the disease which will eventually benefit an untold number of cancer victims in the future. Hank was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Lake Highlands Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was stationed in France where he participated in the Allied landing in Normandy. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Hank was born November 4, 1923. He will be deeply missed and will always be remembered by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and his beloved mother, Mittie Vance Killion and his father, John Martin Killion. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane Killion, daughters Anne Chandler and Peggy Killion of Midland, Texas, Cheryl Richie of Houma, Louisiana, sons Mark Killion of Houma, Louisiana, and Stephen Killion of Sanger, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Micah Richie of Houma., LA, Moriah Richie and Sarah Richie of New Orleans, LA, Connie Claybrook, Catie Slusher, and David Meek of Midland, TX,. Amy Farrar of Houston, TX, Michelle Bergeron and Johnny Haslit of Houma, LA and fourteen great grandchildren.
