Henry Jerome Skrabanek Jr.'s Obituary
Henry J. Skrabanek was born on Feb. 27, 1936, in Caldwell, Texas, and passed away at his home on Dec. 9, 2014, at the age of 78. Henry lived an abundant life with his wife of 54 years, Elaine. After high school, he attended the University of Texas then moved to Dallas where he pursued a successful career in the printing industry. He retired in 1999, after 39 years of dedicated service and commitment to Horticultural Printers. He is survived by his wife Elaine, three children, Becki Snow (Chris), Carol Barrows (Jeff) and Phil Skrabanek (Meredith); brother, James Skrabanek (Lee); grandchildren, Taylor and Tanner Snow, Emily and Jonathan Barrows, Andrew Jenna, Luke, Joel, Abbie, Ellie, and Sarah Skrabanek; and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation for Henry will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Henry will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at North Highlands Bible Church in Lake Highlands, 9626 Church Road, Dallas 75238. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dallas Theological Seminary in memory of Henry Skrabanek.
