Henry Allan Tallant's Obituary
TALLANT, H. ALLAN of Richardson, Texas was born December 22, 1926 to Robert Riley and Mittie Lou Gentry Tallant in Waurika, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 20, 2010. Allan was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war, he came back and started his construction company. Allan loved to hunt and travel with his wife, Bettie and see the world. Together, Allan and Bettie loved horse racing and traveling thousands of miles in their RV. Allan is preceded in death by his parents, his lovely wife Bettie, his sisters, Alta, Vera Etheridge and Allene Spoon. Allan is survived by his brother-in-law, Millard Spoon; his two daughters, Donna Tallant and Dee Burges; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Rev. Paul Ramler officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
