Herbert Lawrence Lindbergh, 96, born December 28, 1919 in Thorndale, Texas. He resided in Mesquite, Texas and moved to Heaven May 17, 2016. He was married to Betty Jean Lindbergh whom met in Long Beach, California. He was a charter member and First Exulted Ruler of The Norwalk Elks Lodge. Together Herbert and Betty had 1 son, 1 daughter, 6 grandsons, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lindbergh; sisters, Estelle Miller, Gladys Dickson; parents, Carl and Ioda Drucy Lindbergh. Herbert is survived by his son, Larry Lindbergh and wife, Cherie Lindbergh; daughter, Cindy Hitt and husband, Mike Hitt; grandchildren, Eric Lindbergh and wife, Tabitha, Shane Lindbergh and wife, Valerie, Mark Lindbergh and wife, Angel, Mike Hitt and wife, Stacey, Rick Hitt and wife, Kristi, Jimmy Hitt and wife, Shelia. The visitation for Herbert Lindbergh will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2016 at Restland funeral Home. The service for Herbert will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
