Smith, Hermagene born on June 14, 1927 in Lone Grove, OK and passed away on June 21, 2016 in Dallas, TX. Hermagene is survived by her husband of 70 years, William J.B. Smith of Dallas; daughter Connie Smith; son William Jerry Smith and wife Sue Ragsdale Smith; granddaughter Ash Smith-Keyfitz, her husband Ben Keyfitz and son Maximo Spinoza Ontiveros; granddaughter Nora Smith-Herring, her husband Jacob Herring, son Aaron Wade Herring and daughter Finley Elise Herring; and grandson William Jacob Smith, his wife Samantha Smith and daughter Violet Wren Smith. Herma was a proud member of the Gauntt family of southern Oklahoma, the daughter of Herman B. and Beatrice Gauntt. In addition to her parents, Herma’s sister Irma Charlene Lynch and brother Bobby Jack Gauntt preceded her in death. Missing her dearly are several cousins and numerous other family members, as well as many devoted friends. Herma and her husband Bill were totally devoted to one another, and recently celebrated the remarkable milestone of 70 romantic and joyful years together. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 12:00PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
