Herman Carroll Griggs' Obituary
Herman Carroll Griggs Sr. of Dallas Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 08, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. His three loving children were by his side when he peacefully passed away.
Herman was born to John W. Griggs & Erma B. Griggs on April 15, 1931, at their home in Suffolk Virginia. Herman was married to Vivian Rosa Beazley-Griggs, his best friend, and the love of his life on March 14, 1953, at the Suffolk Christian Church in Suffolk, Virginia. They were married almost 69 years at the time of her passing.
He was a loving Father of four, Grandfather of five, Great Grandfather of six and Great-great Grandfather of one. He was a loving and kind man & a great friend to all who met him. An amazing partner in life and Husband to his Wife Vivian.
Along with his Wife Vivian, he loved to travel to Blue Grass festivals all over the United States. They loved Blue Grass Music; Square dancing and he loved the outdoors. We will remember him for his kindness and love for his family.
Rest in Peace Dad, we love you so much and we will all be joined together in Heaven one day.
