Hermelinda Lara, 46, of The Colony, TX was born on April 17, 1959 in Los Fresnos, TX to John Arebalo Jr and Lydia Arebalo, passed away on February 23, 2006.
Linda was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana in Carrollton, TX. She worked with the youth group volunteering many hours to her church. She sang with the choir. Linda worked hard for her family. She had a fun loving laugh. She was a second mother to her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Linda was a mentor and a leader. Her love to travel and have family time was important to her. Her family enjoyed many of her recipes. She loved to cook and bake. Many enjoyed her famous Strawberry Cream Tres Leches Cake. She will be missed by her family and close friends. To know Linda was to feel loved. How loving, kind, and generous she was. She was an inspiration to many. Linda will be missed. She will forever be in our hearts.
Linda is survived by husband, David Lara Leal; two sons, Anthony Lynn Arebalo and David Lara, Jr; fours sisters, Carmen Palacios, Estella Lopez, Cynthia Rogers, and Elizabeth Saucedo; two brothers, John Arebalo, Jr and Steven Arebalo; nieces and nephews, Roberto Palacios, James Rogers, JR, Ricardo sauceda, Jr, Jonathan Sauceda, Victoria Pintor, Pamela Salazar, Kaylee Rogers, and Alyssa Lopez.
