Wow. I was looking for her to check on her. All she talked about was her girls and how proud she was. She had a monotone way, you felt her elation but she always kept it classy - you didn't want to upset her, lol. Very thoughtful, smart and generous. I thank God for the honor of knowing her (loved those Cali stories)- I got to do her hair and then she put on a cap. She was funny. Blessings on you ladies and your beautiful families. It saddens me to accept that my dear, dear friend, Hermione, is no longer with us. It comforts me to know that because of her faith the Lord and the way she managed her life, she is now resting in his arms and at peace.
I feel blessed to have had Hermione for a friend; a friend that I admired greatly. She was amazing to me. Her dedication to the pursuit of education and opportunities for herself and her children was always evident by her actions. She was undaunted in her efforts to support her daughters in fulfilling their hopes and dreams. She was so proud of each of you and each grand child. The four of you should know that I spent a lot of time listening to her talk about all of you and the grandchildren. I shared her pride.
I am so sorry that I cannot be there in person, but please know that I will always cherish my friendship with my sister, Hermione. We shared many laughs together and we supported each other in friendship for more than sixty years. It was my honor to be her sister friend and I will cherish her memory always.

My cousin Hermione was a very beautiful and special woman who loved everyone and she had such a big heart and she always love to write, she just loved people.
She loved her family so very much and family meant everything to her.
She always talked how proud she was of her beautiful daughters and when she talked about her daughters her face would always light up like a Christmas tree.
